Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in motherhood, health, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Precious

Sydney is my wonderfully curious child. She does not fear... fear itself. She loves animals more than anything and as a result she is holding a starfish for the first time. As she held the starfish I thought constantly of the story of when the old man was throwing star fish back into the ocean. The child asks, why? And the man says, if I am helping at least one starfish, I am helping. Well you get the gist of the story. I walked along the beach wondering, what will my daughters lives look like in ten years or twenty years? They have some much curiosity and passion. What will they do with it? How do you instill drive and passion into another person? Or can you? I think not. I think we are born with gifts and the sooner you find your gifts the easier your path here on earth is for you. My daughters gifts: resiliency, passion, stubborn, driven, competitive, hopeful and loving. After all, how can you survive what these girls have survived without some of these characteristics? May we never miss our gifts.
