Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in motherhood, health, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Unapologetically Me

Throughout your life, people give you feedback to help you grow.  Sometimes their feedback is really only about themselves and not truly given to help you.

There are people that always want to shape you into a person you are not - so you can be just like them.  They just can't accept you for being yourself.

Some people have no reality in the the 'real' world as they live in a castle feeling 'poor me' syndrome. They do not bother so see outside of their small individual sphere.

I have a mellow demeanor whose love languages are 'Acts of Service' and 'Words of Affirmation'.  For years I have had a person in my life who I have waited and waited for words of affirmation and I allowed this soul to steal my spirit.  I have finally chosen to let the negative soul go and choose the people I want in my life.  It is so strange how long we allow others to affect us, influence us and change us when they really do not actually have your best interest in mind.  Can I say it?  They are too self centered to even realize there is a world of others living in it.  This is not good.  I always want to believe the best in people but sometimes I must choose my sanity.  I am me, without apology.  The beautiful part is I am happy with myself.  I am truly happy knowing I have left the baggage at the curb and I walk (really run) into a fresh lifted direction.  What a true blessing.

I do believe that God has a hand on every relationship that we enter into and tries to stop some relationships.  We force some while others are so easy that it feels like you have always been connected.  Some relationship are too hard that you must let go as you are forcing oil and water to try to remain mixed and they physically just can't stay in that state.  I love that God has me in His hands.  I trust in His plan without a doubt.

You must be okay with your decisions and I am loving mine.  Do you love all the people you allow in your circle of influence?
