Thirteen years ago today we sat in the operating waiting room with many of our family and friends as we waited for 56 doctors, nurses and staff to separate the girls, Lexi and Sydney. Here are a few key phrases from that day I will never forget:
"They cut skin at 10:02"
"It's like God gave us a dotted line to cut down, when we opened them up, we knew whose body was whose."
"Would you like to see your babies for the first time on separate beds?"
We are blessed to be thriving young ladies in the 8th grade - Grandparents day at school today.
With a grateful heart, I thank God for them. As Granny said to me, "God must think you are special, as He doesn't give conjoined twins to just anyone." Thanks Granny and God for their vote of confidence in James and I. We are blessed and grateful.
