I am always fascinated with the idea of where we live. I believe we live in areas because we are born there which often that determines their future home location. While others venture out of their hometown for exploration needs, education or work related movement while some have a strong urge to set up camp at a dream location.
I have always wanted to live in every state for just one year. After I was married to my husband, I asked to start my gypsy roots and move yearly. He looked me and said where will I work each year as we move? At that moment I knew that being a gypsy soul was not going to work until retirement. So we planted our roots in a suburban home. In many aspects, I love it and many aspect I hate it.
What I have determined is that I want two totally different things -
First a house that you feel like you are outside but surrounded by glass which still keeps you out of the wind and sun.
Second, I want to be close to a city. I am a huge fan of activity, cute coffee shops and small boutique clothes shopping. So I could also fall in love with a house that brings the outdoors in too.
