Exercise and diet change up time
So I gave up sugar for lent this past spring and thought that I could add it back in my diet in moderation... I am no sure that is possible. Once you start adding sugar, more and more sugar is craved. That next thing I know the weight I lost during lent has reappeared.
Lack of exercise and movement (I am a busy person so I do move a ton) however I am not weight training and actively exercising. That's a problem. So we signed up for the gym and guess what... we have not been there once except to renew our membership. It's not working.
So it's time to find a new direction for healthy eating and exercising. What will I do? Here is what I did today:
1. Wish that I could be in shape without effort or discipline (realized impossible so moved on)
2. Checked out easy food ideas for meals so meal decisions are on point with goal
3. Sign up for a new exercise program that has diversity - adjustable with my arthritis
4. Found my accountability group as I need a team to stay accountable - just can't do solo
My next step is to figure out my goal of what do I want to accomplish - what does healthy body feel like to me?
