I have read more books in the last few months than I have read in years. I am in love with a new found passion for reading
... from The Kitchen House where I cried my way through an airplane trip next to complete strangers blubbering. I actually picked up on their accents from the 1800s so I was pleased the book wrapped up before it was too late.
Then reading Gone Girl by Jillian Flynn. I am still upset at how the characters ended in this novel. It is funny that I still have this negative way the book ended that gets me fired up within seconds. I guess that is the sign of a good writer, they can make you feel something.
On to Maine by J. Courtney Sullivan which was a wonderful story book that I could not put down. She did an incredible job of sharing every family members side of the situation and how we truly create our own reality. It is really about your personal perception. I do say, I need a Maine II....what happens next?
I am now in search of her other book, Commencement.
This is my next adventure once the library calls to let me know it is my turn to dive into this book.
I hopped off the fiction wagon and grabbed Scott Stapp book just out of plain curiosity. I am enjoying learning about how our childhood upbringing has such a mark on who we are today. I can't wait to see how God works in Scott's life.
