I have been reading a few books currently from The How of Happiness. It is alright for me as it is a 'how to' book and I am really enjoying the fiction realm better at this point in my life. I am a Christian woman and book put religion as an 'option' of being happy. I think God must be the foundation before happiness can be achieved but different of beliefs.
I also picked up Sylvia Day - Crossfire book. I did not realize how many books she has written until I tried to find the second book in the series. I was super bummed when you wrap up a book and the story has just 'started'. SO I am curious on where this new relationship is headed and what will happen. So I am waiting for the library to get the second and third book in this series reserved for me.
The other book I finished up was another book by Susan Crandell, Promises to Keep. I am not a fan of the cover as it just does not do her stories justice in my opinion. I chose the first book I read of hers, Whistling Past the Graveyard because of the beautiful cover. Then realized I stumbled upon a fabulous writer. I will read my was through her books as she is wonderful. I need to place a hold on a few more of her gems.
I know you should not judge a book by its cover, but for a visual person how am I not suppose to do what is an innate characteristic? Actually who started that quote in the first place? Was it an author who did not like the choice of their cover once they completed their book project?
